I had a dream inspiration recently. It was set at Olswick's Dam, one half mile east of my childhood home on the prairie farm.

The school volleyball season wrapped up last week. The grade 8 girls' volleyball team went to Oxbow for playoffs on November 9. The girls played hard but came up short in the playoff round.

The town of Carlyle is now approaching one full year of service with Regens Waste Disposal for household waste removal, and it has been a half-a-year since the curb-side recycling had been adopted by the town.

The November 11th holiday of Remembrance Day is recognized by many as the most sombre day in the official calendar.

The Pee Wee Cougars, and their coaches Todd Magotiaux, Gilles Matthewson, and Clayton Geiger, started off their season with a game in Redvers on Saturday, November 6. Tommy Cappo scored the first goal of the year in the first period.

Last week the Remembrance Day service was held at C.E.S. on Wednesday morning. The service was very nice. Thank-you to all of the community members who joined and students who participated. Reminder of After School Programs that are happening at C.E.
