For more than a month the RM of Moose Creek Council has trampled hard on the statutory right of ratepayers to be heard under a "Petition for a Referendum". This right is provided for in the Municipalities Act beginning at Section 132. On Feb.

A rabbi and one of his students were spending the night at the inn. The student asked the servant to wake him at dawn because he was to take an early train. The servant did so.

The Sask Snowmobile Racing Association Rally was held Feb. 13. The event was co-hosted by the Bear Claw Casino and Hotel and the Moose Mountain Snowmobile Club.

The annual Winter Carnival held at White Bear Education Complex did not go exactly as planned, due to cold weather, but students had a fantastic time exploring various activities adapted for the indoors. Activities got underway just after 10 a.m.

Students at Arcola School celebrated Flag Day Feb. 15 with an unique twist: the flag they raised to the top of the pole had flown at the Parliament Building in Ottawa.

The Wawota Save Our Beds Committee is not ready to give up its fight. Members are bringing new information to light at a public meeting organized for March 3, as well as seeking input on the future direction the committee should take.
