A life time of experience, and a life time of growth has helped form Mark Skagen's political stance

McPhee noted that it is especially important that people recognize how different it can be for candidates in rural ridings to collect their signatures. He enjoys the fact that a little more time can be spend getting to know the person at the door, and learning about their voting history too.

One of the priorities of the newly elected council was the clean up the former property of the Assiniboia Rubber Recycling Plant.

"It was important to continue the work of a MP, with the best interest of the people in mind,鈥� said Jeremy Patzer.
