Storm entered Assiniboia on Tuesday evening: Environment Canada issued warnings
Environment Canada’s meteorologists were tracking a potentially dangerous thunderstorm in the Assiniboia area at 7:24 p.m. C.S.T on July 7. This storm was said to be adept in creating caustic gusts, nickel-size hailstones and rainstorms.

Tornado warnings for Assiniboia and region
Favourable conditions for severe thunderstorms in the Assiniboia-Gravelbourg area, which in turn might produce tornadoes, were reported on July 7. Environment Canada said severe thunderstorms would develop later in afternoon towards the evening.
