SASKATOON - A man is facing weapons-related charges after police responded to a report involving a firearm yesterday morning.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., May 6, patrol officers responded to a report of a man seen pointing a firearm before fleeing into an apartment building in the 400 block of 4th Avenue North. Responding officers located the suspect in a suite and seized an imitation firearm and an expandable baton.
A 19-year-old man is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, prohibited possession of a firearm, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
