City hires bylaw consultant

In August the City of Yorkton circulated a request for proposals to consultants for the preparation of the Official Community Plan, Zoning Bylaw and Sign Bylaw.

The Sacred Heart senior girls volleyball team took part in the 16-team Mega Wish volleyball tournament in Regina this past weekend. The Lady Saints began the tournament facing their Highway 10 rivals Melville.

Harvest go even on opening road trip

The Yorkton Harvest Midget AAA hockey club opened up the 2010-11 season on the road with games in Beardy's and Saskatoon, and came back home with a win and a loss.
