Editorial - Agriculture still critical to Yorkton

It was an interesting Monday morning at the Gallagher Centre as a homemade branding iron was heated and used to burn a mark into a piece of rough lumber. The branding ceremony was a way to mark the beginning of Agriculture Week in the City.

City moves to collect taxes

The City of Yorkton is moving forward in the process to collect taxes on a number of properties in the city under the requirements of the Tax Enforcement Act. The properties are those which have arrears outstanding from 2009 and earlier.
