A public group on Facebook for the past six years has garnered around 700 members and has had numerous posts with successful outcomes.

A young First Nation group which performs energetic dance routines combined with speaking presentations between songs, performed for an audience at Kamsack Comprehensive Institute (KCI).

The Kamsack Atom Flyers team hosted its home tournament, with six teams in attendance, from January 31 to February 2.

Once again this year students and staffs of Victoria School are raising funds in support of Telemiracle. The 44 th edition of the Kinsmen Foundation sponsored fundraiser will be held in Regina from March 7 to 8 at the Conexus Arts Centre.

Harmony House Music of Kamsack held a winter music recital on January 24 at the Kamsack United Church. Darren Kitsch, Kira Kitsch and Kyler Kitsch teach piano and guitar lessons to over 30 students from the Kamsack area.

The Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association recently awarded winners in its annual poster contest. Last year the contest theme was 鈥淲etlands and Wildlife,鈥� with an entry deadline of December 20, 2019.

The Ken Newall rink of Norquay topped the annual Arran Mixed Open Bonspiel held January 19 to 26.

Again this year the annual Wheelchair Funspiel fundraiser bonspiel was held at the Broda Sportsplex. Starting on January 24, the bonspiel wound up on January 26, with the Jason Pennell foursome of Kamsack taking top spot.

Creative fundraising ideas are the backbone of many Saskatchewan communities, and some people in Norquay recently put the 鈥渇un鈥� in fundraising. The Princess and Superhero Fundraiser was held at the Norquay Communiplex on January 25.

An architecture and interior design company which was asked to provide a facility assessment of the Broda Sportsplex, recently presented its findings to Kamsack鈥檚 town council.
