SASKATOON - Update, July 4, 9:14 a.m.: Traffic restrictions at the scene of a collision involving a vehicle and bicycle yesterday afternoon have been lifted.
Shortly before 3 p.m., July 3, police responded to a collision at the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Eastview. A 7-year-old boy was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The SPS Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate.
Original post, July 3, 3:49 p.m.: A male youth has been transported to hospital with undetermined injuries following a collision between a vehicle and a bicycle this afternoon.
Shortly before 3 p.m., July 3, police responded to the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Eastview for a report of a collision with injuries between a vehicle and a bicycle.
Traffic restrictions are in place in all directions at the intersection while police investigate. Members of the public are advised to find an alternate route through the area.
An update will be provided upon removal of the restrictions or as information becomes known.
