SASKATOON - One man was transported to hospital following a stabbing yesterday afternoon.
At around 5:45 p.m. on April 30, police were called to the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for a report of a stabbing.
The suspects were reported to have fled into a nearby mall prior to police arrival.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a potentially life-threatening stab wound; he was transported to hospital by paramedics for further treatment of his injury.
A search of the area did not locate any of the suspects.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
