SASKATOON - Update: Northbound and southbound traffic restrictions have now been lifted near the overpass of Circle Drive East and Idylwyld Drive North.
Officers were able to successfully convince the male in distress to return to safety. He has been transported to hospital for an assessment.
Original post: Traffic restrictions are in place as Saskatoon Police respond to a report of a male in distress on the overpass of Circle Drive East and Idylwyld Drive North.
Northbound traffic on Idylwyld Drive is blocked at 39th Street, and southbound traffic is restricted at 51st Street.
Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
