Traffic restrictions set for multiple Regina roads on Thursday

Drivers in Regina can expect several road closures and lane restrictions Thursday as crews carry out pruning, repairs and contractor work.

REGINA — Several traffic restrictions and road closures are scheduled for Thursday across Regina as city crews and private contractors complete various maintenance and repair projects.

Albert Street – Assiniboine Avenue to Thornton Avenue
Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., southbound traffic on Albert Street will be restricted as crews conduct tree pruning.

Albert Street and College Avenue
Starting at 7:30 p.m., the intersection of Albert Street and College Avenue will be restricted for one night while a private contractor completes work.

Dalgliesh Drive – Vanier Drive to Arnason Drive
Between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Dalgliesh Drive will be closed while crews work on water system repairs.

Edinburgh Drive – Westminster Road to Mountbatten Crescent
Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Edinburgh Drive will be closed for road repair work.

McDonald Street – 5th Avenue to 4th Avenue
Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., McDonald Street will be closed while water system repairs are completed.

Truesdale Drive – Harding Street to Fowler Street
Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Truesdale Drive will be closed to allow road repair work.

Victoria Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive
Starting at 7:30 p.m., the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive will be restricted for one night while a private contractor completes work.

Transit users are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to confirm whether any of the planned restrictions will affect their routes or bus stops.
