REGINA — Drivers in Regina will encounter multiple traffic restrictions on Thursday as construction and maintenance work gets underway on several streets.
Starting at 8 a.m., 15th Avenue will be closed from Smith Street to McIntyre Street for eight days. A private contractor is completing work in the area.
Dalgliesh Drive will also be closed from Cooper Crescent to Cooper Crescent between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while crews carry out road repairs.
On the east side of the city, Toronto Street will be closed between 5th Avenue North and 4th Avenue North from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for storm drain repairs.
Transit users are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to determine if their routes or stops will be affected.
The City of Regina thanked residents for their patience and reminded drivers to slow down in construction zones.
