MOULD-HUBER

It is with great sadness that Brian Huber announces the peaceful passing of his beloved wife, Rosemary Mould-Huber on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at the age of 65 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Silvia Mould; brother, Arthur Mould; and sister-in-law, Anne Mould. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Brian; sister, Marlene Mould (Dennis Waldenberger); sister-in-law, Hertha Mould; nephews, Shannon Mould (Kyla) and Nolan Mould (Jennifer); niece, Joanna Mould; as well as numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.

Rosemary was the third child born to Silvia Levina Mould (née: Saathoff) and George Mould in Moose Jaw, SK on March 13th, 1960. She attended Lindale School and Central Collegiate. The school bus ride left Rosemary with a sense of loneliness with no one to talk to. As a coping mechanism, she took up crocheting. It was normal for her to crochet the occasional tablecloth on the bus. She did beautiful crochet work all her life.

After graduation, Rosemary joined the Militia. She attended summer camp and enjoyed it immensely. She was especially proud that she could keep up with the boys during the morning run. Rose’s militia time gave her confidence and the added bonus of spending money. This helped when she attended Saskatchewan Technical Institute that fall. She graduated a couple of years later with a secretarial diploma.

Rosemary’s spiritual life started in her childhood as she attended Marquis United Church with her parents. There she felt her first calling of the Lord. However, over the years, she found herself floundering with bouts of depression and self-doubt until God called again for her to attend Aldersgate College. Rosemary credited Aldersgate with saving her life. It provided her with a stable environment where God could have her full attention.

Rose and some of her fellow students called themselves “Street no Secure”. They were enveloped, protected, and supported by God’s love. God and the Bible left an indelible mark on the souls of Rosemary and her Aldersgate friends. This experience provided her with a steadfast foundation which stayed with her throughout the rest of her life, regardless how tough it got.

Rosemary’s tough times came in the form of health issues. They started with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), progressed to Diabetes (insulin dependant), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) which developed into Ulcerative Colitis. Add to these, falling several times. Each fall jarred a compressed disc resulting in continuous short and long-term pain. Later in life, she developed Lupus SLE and Fibromyalgia. The final diagnosis was laboured oxygen and T-Cell Leukemia causing a weakened immune system making he susceptible to multiple bouts of pneumonia, eventually resulting in her passing.

Throughout everything that happened to Rosemary, she held steadfast to her faith and love of God. She also had the loving support of an amazing husband. He treated her like a princess and dedicated himself to her care. He made a point of expressing his love for her each and every day.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Those not able to attend may view the service by going to . In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary’s name may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200 4545 Parliament Ave, Regina, SK S4W 0G3.

A special thanks to the staff at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital for their dedicated care and support ensuring Rosemary a peaceful passing into eternity.

Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
