SASKATCHEWAN - Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms along the western side of the province from the Wilkie/Unity area down to Maple Creek. Environment Canada says storms may develop that are capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Environment Canada reminds the public that when thunder roars, go indoors! Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Secure loose objects. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles.
