Missing Ont. teen believed to be in Sask. may have been displaced

PELICAN NARROWS — Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing 16-year-old vulnerable youth from Brampton, Ont.

Jay'siiah is described as a black male, 5'11 ", slim build, with black shoulder-length curly hair styled in braids. He was last seen wearing a black Nike Tech tracksuit, black bubble jacket with a hood, grey socks, white Nike Air Force 1 shoes, carrying a black FILA duffel bag with lime green trim.

Jay'siiah was last seen March 27, leaving his residence in the area of Ivor Crescent and Hoxton Road in the city of Brampton. Since Jaysiiah left his residence, his mother had been in contact with him over Instagram, although communication stopped on May 16. 

Through investigation, police located an address for Jaysiiah in Saskatchewan. Pelican Narrows RCMP Detachment attended the address it was believed Jay'siiah was staying at, although they were advised that the residence and area had been evacuated due to the forest fires.

Police and family of Jay'siiah are concerned for his well-being.
