The city said in its news release with nearly 200 wildfire evacuees in North Battleford, most of whom did not have the opportunity to bring any possessions prior to leaving their home communities in the La Ronge area, there are a number of items, which would be gratefully accepted for donation.
Urgently needed items in North Battleford include:
-Toothbrushes/toothpaste;
-Diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, pull-ups;
-Formula/baby food;
-Clothing (all sizes/ages/genders) – must be clean, used clothing is acceptable;

These donations may be dropped off daily starting on June 5, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the bay doors of the Northland Power Curling Centre (2-623 Carlton Trail). The bay doors are located at the back of the facility.
If community groups, individuals or businesses are able to provide any of these items, the city said it is much appreciated.
