Chariots and chuckwagons run at Yorkton Ex.

The EPCCA moves down the highway to race Saturday and Sunday in Sheho.

YORKTON - The track at the Yorkton Exhibition brought out a full Legacy Co-op Grandstand for the first of three days of Eastern Professional Chariot & Chuckwagon Association racing Wednesday.

Action started with 16 heats of chariot racing with Colin Kilborn with his Monster Construction hitch topping the day with a time of 61:58.

The Ryan Peterson hitch sponsored by North 40 Fabrics was second on the day with a time of 61.86.

Third was Dakota Longman with his Prairie North Co-op chariot in a time of 62.23.

In the evening the chuckwagons took to the track with 12 heats and 36 wagons.

The Casey Peterson team pulling the Motor City Farms sponsored wagon topped the day with a time of 64.50.

Kain Salmond with his Vetted Hydrovac Services was second in a time of 64.61.

Colin Kilborn with his Liebrecht Farms wagon was third at 64.86.

Racing continues in Yorkton with chariots and chuckwagons running again Thursday and Friday.
